My career in Social Services began during my last year at UWGB while earning my Bachelor of Science in Human Development with a Minor in Psychology. I gained a rich and rewarding experience while beginning my career in the Mental Health and Caregiving fields at an 8 bed CBRF for adults with mental illnesses. With my passion discovered, I then sought the position of Program Director for a women’s center within the same organization, which was held for the next 4 years. In 2021, I felt my calling was to open New Day Women’s Center and began to put that plan into action.
As native Wisconsinites, my husband and I are avid outdoor enthusiasts. Our 4 “kids” ages 14-28 and brand new grandson enjoy hiking, canoeing, the beach, attending music events, taking day trips and game nights together. I enjoy reading, trying new foods, art and learning about history and culture.
