We know it can be intimidating to walk into a new place where faces are unfamiliar. Please know that you are welcome, you matter and you are accepted just the way you are. It is our desire to get to know you and see how we might be of assistance. We expect we will learn from you along our journey together as well!
What To Expect
Upon your first visit:
- You will be greeted and made comfortable.
- You will be given a tour and be asked to fill out some “New Guest” paperwork which helps up assess how we might best meet your needs. It is also very important for keeping track of statistics which helps us receive
more funding.
*Paperwork is not required. However, please know it is for your benefit and we keep your information private according to HIPPA practices. - You are free to attend a class, use the computers, or participate in any of our offerings.
Volunteers and staff will be available to answer questions, assist you, chat a while, play a game or just sit quietly with you. Many of our other guests will be happy to help you as well. Most often, you will receive assistance immediately, however, if programming or high demand occurs, you may be asked to wait or schedule a more convenient time.
Coming together is a beginning;
keeping together is progress;
working together is success
